The mission of the organisation is:

To make a positive difference in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children (OVC), their primarycaregivers and the youth, primarily through a professionally supported one-to-one relationship with trained and caring adults, and to assist them in achieving their highest pontetial as they grow to become confident, resilient and self-confident.

• Objectives

St Martin de porres has five important objectives;

• Ensuring that children have food security, attend school and have enough clothes
• Training the volunteers and the primary caregivers skills in childcare and incomegenerating projects
• Rendering psychosocial support to OVC and their primary caregivers
• Building resilience, self-confidence and life skills among the OVC and the youth
• Giving HIV/AIDS, child abuse and human traficking awareness workshop among OVC and the youth in Kwa Thema Township outside Springs and Kwa Zenzele in Endicott.
